How to use
- Enter your height in cm or feet.
- Read the result in feet and inches below.
- Enter weight in kg, lb or geun to convert it.
Height and weight are written in different units depending on the country. Most of the world uses centimeters and kilograms, while the United States uses feet, inches and pounds. This converter helps when a form, a sports or fitness profile, a medical record or an overseas shopping site asks for a unit you do not use every day. Type in any box and the other units are recalculated as you type.
Conversion factors: one foot is exactly 30.48 cm and one inch is exactly 2.54 cm, and one pound is defined as 0.45359237 kg, so one kilogram is about 2.2046 lb. The feet-and-inches line divides centimeters by 2.54, takes whole feet of 12 inches and shows the remaining inches to one decimal place; 170 cm, for example, is 5′ 6.9″. Weight also converts to geun, a traditional Korean unit, using the 600 g geun used for meat.
Results are rounded for display: centimeters to one decimal, feet to three, and kilograms, pounds and geun to two. If a document needs an exact value, check which unit and how many decimals it expects. All math happens in your browser, and the numbers you type are not sent anywhere or saved.
